New Gang : Creme of Nature - Pure Honey

So I finally ventured into target and got the set of products that I’ve been eyeing for about a month

Now I’d rather tell you how my pocket reacted to this, but I’m just gonna get into its benefits, how I used it and what shocked me. So I of course used the detangler while I was in the shower and it actually did it’s job quite nicely. It was during a takedown so the curls laid as they were bunched. It was just to separate those finite ends that knotted up.

The leave in conditioner scared me as I thought from the consistency that I saw in the bottle it would not be a spritz but something similar of a pump.
Its a thin enough creme to give you a light coat, but hard to grip in the shower. Best believe it got dropped in that shower. And at the sink. And in my room. I think I’m getting a handle on it, but it’s probably going to be empty before I truly do.

so I waited until I was out of the shower to get myself a spritz and the slip that it gave me was top-tier on my newly twisted mane. I wasn’t looking to overdo it so I went on with my post-shower ritual while it all soaked in

i’ve used the twisting cream already when I was constructing the Ari hairstyle so I already have my expertise with that, but I think I’m ready to try more finite twists especially with the curl elongating creme. Once the twists were about 75% dry I went IN with the creme, starting slowly at the ends, coating them, and perform my log rolling method so I don’t overwhelm any certain spot with too much product before it distributes itself evenly. But it did JUST THAT. Of course weighed down by the added product, that’s what I like unfortunately. The twists had a little more swang than usual and made it all the more enjoyable with the extra inch of hang time I get from doing my twists in a smaller size.

I heard from a friend that with nature dries her hair out, now I can’t testify on her side with that since I know how to adequately moisturize my hair before adding in product. No shade and not to say that I didn’t feel slight crunchiness with the curl elongating cream, but my strands moisturize been lubricated for about a good two hours, then checking became a little bit of a problem and I found myself remoisturizing my hair for my own personal liking a little bit more often Now maybe that could be a derivative of what she meant. But let’s get into it

Hair could be drying during your styling process or I could be drying hours well after. Mines seemed to be after even though the style itself held up.

I’m gonna give myself another porosity test because I’m 85% sure I’m on the low side, and is probably overdue for a protein treatment. With low porosity comes not-so-moisturized hair, especially living in Texas. Water and nourishment leaves my hair shaft throughout the day which is why I felt the need to reapply and spritz here and there.
when conditions are met, then actions like that aren’t necessarily essential for the maintenance of your hairstyle, and shouldn’t be something to require if you want to ask me. But to achieve what I had wanted- I needed to do so 🤷🏾‍♂️ Ion know what do y’all think? I love a spritz leave in conditioner and all but not the way the bottle was shaped with a press down nozzle, I couldn’t get a grip for the life of me and spritz with ANY residue on my hands, they had to be bone dry basically.
Ion like det 😐

would you guys give it a go?
