Staying healthy-ish during COVID

Summer still exists even with Miss Rona still in this house rent free.. so how you finna be lookin’ when it hit? 🌚 I’ve been seeing a lot of personal training, and training @ home systems come out through our quarantine. So. they’ve kind of been making this a no more excuses type of mood with each passing ad. So it always gets you thinking. Or at least I did.

My diet hasn’t really been giving me half trash and half healthy. Y’know, Healthy ass breakfast, moderate lunch, heavy dinner orrrrr a bunch of snacks. We know its like part what you digest and part what you do afterwards (sleep or move). But with how my agenda has been slapped with this little pandemic. Most of the time, your plans get stalled, and you find yourself sitting at home… eating more snacks.

I think I ran out of quarantine snacks maybe about 3 times in the first month.

So i’ve been thinking around my snack time and how I can make it less guilty but more nutritious to say the least, and no, I don’t mean by buying useless celery- thinking i’m going to eat it with peanut butter when I start to feel the boredom-snacking coming on. No… I’m grabbing chips.

So I changed up on the grub that I pick out. Time to put premium in this Bentley… or I guess mid grade. Nothing is way too outta this world. But the way something is produced or whipped up matters.

NO EXTRA SHIT

NO Trans fats

NO Heavy oils

NO unnecessary refined sugar

NO “3% Juice” mess. Either 98+ or not at all

NO Extra carbonation. Leave it to the wines and seltzers

I could get into diverging from the places you shop, but what’s the point of changing the location if each and every store has their own version of trash snacks, and you know what I mean by trash snacks. Keep a guideline on the food rather than the locations. Kind of like the Salad @ Mcdonald’s Mentality
