Grease Monkey Chronicles

Ive been driving past this place… for a couple of years actually and I never really took it upon myself and my bank account to try and see what they’re about. I mean, you can always just read a menu, but you know reading doesn’t do a restaurant justice. You gotta go see what it smells like, and atmosphere and therein what they put on a plate. Theres multiple locations, i’m sure it’s a huge franchise.

This one sits off in between Mesquite and Center, with a little sitting area adjacent to the building for me and Micah to let Ivy lay out and stretch her little paws. Who’s Ivy you ask?

She’s only a few months old and is a rescue as well, and loves to be in on the hot shit, just like the rest of us. but back to the Grease Monkey.

You know, its nothing but digital menus nowadays and they have this sticker posted right on the door for me and my baddies to cruise right on up to it. So we do, pull out the cellular devices and see what they whip up- check out the burgers even though we just.. wanted.. fries..

All this peepin’, I kinda wanna see what it’s about now. Y’know.

So, first of all, I pull up to the counter because I see they got loaded fries on the menu, EEEERHH, they outta cheese. So it looks like i’m picking a burger to astonish me. I come out with the Black & Blue Burger. Juicy meat on toasted ciabatta, crispy onions and the veggies. This is one of those gut punching burgers; cant really finish because of how full I was. I mean LOOK at this sucker.

If you want my recommendation, i’d say go for it- I don’t know what you’re gonna go for, but go for it.
