New Character Unlocked : Leo 🦁
This is where ‘Leo’s Mane’ starts to make sense if you couldn’t guess it ; after countless months of TLC, and hella banknotes spent on moisturizing agents, my crown now has grown over 15in in length, adheres to a definite curl pattern… and is still thick as shit.
Not the type to brag buuutttt…. who am I kidding. I love doing it.
LOOOOK at the results! A little more than I was expecting and that’s a good thing. I had to do a take dow and measure one of the twists, because of course you could measure whilst still in it’s twisted style but that is still the approximate length due to, not only shrinkage, but the curls not being elongated enough. Bone straight gets the most accurate measurement, and that’s just what were aiming to measure here. I’ve taken rulers to the head trying to catch a glimpse in the mirror, but lately I been going at it with a tape measure and sholl nuff, it reaches to 17in in most areas.
This mane has flourished in many styles and of course there are more to conquer, but the goal in mind is to venture out to see how versatile this mane can get. It’s a journey in itself 😅, but it’s a fun one. Not many can play around with natural hair like this.
I’d want to try three strand twists, perm rods, curlers, yknow. The whole nine. I have the real estate to play around with and actually get manageable results. And that’s what I want this journey to embody. Leo likes change, Leo like to wild out, Leo’s got plans 😅
